Heat and eat from Cantine Kat

It’s simple but different from your usual take out orders or preparatory meals. The menu is just a guide or example of at least 400 meals we can create together. We have just selected typically favorite meals you can find from other sources. You can also see it as a sample test for you to become familiar with what we offer. Test if it really does taste great without losing flavor and texture; in a plant based version. Preferably we would like you to mention your favorite meals in the comments. We have a worldly selection of recipes. No matter your culture we will do our very best to provide you with a taste of home cooking, the way your mother did. Eating is an experience that we should all enjoy and reflect on past memories. The only difference is we will using plant based products, seafood and fish. So not only will you be eating your favorite meals but you will be eating healthy and saving the environment from greenhouse gases, water contamination and air quality issues.

All our ingredients will be mostly local and selected carefully for the utmost quality. It will be prepared the day of your order to ensure it’s freshness. Then it can be either frozen and or stored in the fridge for up to 5 days at least, unless it is something like a salad of course. All the packages will have details of the simple ingredients and the expiration date. Since it is not a restaurant, there is a minimum order of at least 5 meals or 125$ a week. This is a great deal for you, because you will have the joy of looking forward to eating your favorite meals; without the wait. So if you have at least 5 meals of your choice waiting for you at home or office that you like, you will be content. This is convenience with the flick of your finger. It will save you time and energy from shopping for your groceries and then cooking a meal after that. Also, you can try a few meals a week to integrate yourself to eating less meat. Joining us does not mean you have to give up meat entirely but just cutting down might be an idea.

Our extended menu would be from Italy like: cheese ricotta pie, fettuccine al burro, gnocchi Verdi, and pasta primavera. Asian: deep fried shrimp, sweet potato and squash cakes and deep fried stuffed crabs. Russian: flaky salmon or cabbage loaf. Provincial french: Stuffed mushrooms, mushroom bourguignon, coq au vin, cheese and tomato quiche. Viennese: Plant based meat filled strudel, faux veal cutlets with a creamy mushroom sauce, and breaded tofu cutlets. German: baked kale with potatoes, potato plum or apple dumplings and Spatzle. Japanese: Tofu and sesame seed dressing with vegetables, deep fried tofu in soy seasoned sauce and grilled soybean curd with miso dressing. Latin: fried tortillas with beans, paella, Mexican rice and beans, and refried beans. Middle East: Baked eggplant tomato and chickpea casserole, tomato pilaf, spanakopita, falafel with Arab bread and chickpea sauce. Chinese: barbecue spareribs, sour and hot soup, peanut sauce stir fry, pad thai, stir fried snow peas with Chinese mushrooms and bamboo shoots. Caribbean: Banana bread, coconut bread, and lobster salad. British: Salmon Wellington. Croatian: egg cheese parsley stuffed eggplant, spinach filled pasta, and kale or potato moussaka. American: Boston brown bread, hearty vegetarian chili, football Sunday chili and Salmon pie.
