The correlation between meat causing inflammation and pain.
Believe it or not, but several studies have assured us that although inflammation leading to severe and continuous pain is caused by eating meat, refined carbohydrates, fried, ultra-processed foods and alcohol. We don’t have meat on our menu, nor refined carbohydrates, nor deep fried, nor ultra-processed foods and not alcohol. Since my mom has been eating our meals, she no longer complains of any pain, Two years ago her back was constantly aching and there was nothing I could do to help her. Until, I watched Netflix’s documentary “What the Health”where I learnt that avoiding meat will help her pain and within one month, she was cured. At the same time, I starting suffering from rheumatism where somedays I could hardly move my fingers freely and my legs were painful; until I changed my eating to vegetarianism. Also, my mom’s health while eating Cantine Kat’s meals has improved. She no longer has a problem with cholesterol, she lost more than 90 pounds, she is walking and exercising with ease now, and has no pain.
We both always loved meat like most people but it was worth trying something different; especially since I had been cooking and preparing meats since I was thirteen years old. After so many years, I was looking for an alternative, since we were in pain and mostly because of what meat and poultry is like nowadays. Mass production, mistreatment of animals and horrible, dirty environmental procedures in preparing the meats are a turn off. Also, the chicken we buy has like a film on it and has a smell that is not tempting. The slimy feeling between my hands was a turn off for sure. Learning that processed meats are carcinogens and my dad died from cancer had convinced me to let kolbassa, bacon and prosciutto go. Of course science has not caught up with making kolbassa in a plant based version but with interest and enough customers, I am sure that will be achieved as well. Maybe Cantine Kat will find a way soon.
To add, “cows produce significant amounts of methane-a potent greenhouse gas roughly 28-30 times more effective than carbon dioxide… Each cow emits about 200-500 grams of methane daily.” Google search And cattle ranching is the leading driver of deforestation in the Amazon!
All the reasons above are good enough reasons to stop eating meat. Heat and eat no meat with Cantine Kat and beat disease.
